The Opening Ceremony
We are delighted to announce that on Sunday 8th July the new Nightingale Centre and Genesis Prevention Centre was officially opened. It will be fully functional by September. For more information about the new centre click on the "About Genesis" button at the top of the website.
It was an amazing to see so many of our fundraisers, staff & volunteers join together to celebrate this momentous occasion and the event further highlighted the incredible support for the Genesis Appeal.
Most guests surrounded the building to cut the magenta pink ribbon, which measured a total length of 5,000m and had been dutifully wrapped round the building 24 times by the Genesis Team, it took them over 4 hours to complete!
